General Colin Powell, George Lucas among featured speakers at Grad Nation Summit

For those organizations, communities and individuals interested in contributing to dropout prevention efforts by learning and sharing promising practices, the 2012 Building a Grad Nation Summit provides the proper forum for mobilizing effective action. The conference, which is free of charge, will take place on March 18-21 in Washington, D.C. and features appearances from America’s Promise Founding Chairman General Colin Powell and Chair Alma Powell. Other speakers will include George Lucas, U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan, education reform leader Michelle Rhee and more.
